What does it mean?

Codswallop is a fantastic British word for something that is complete and utter nonsense. If someone tells you a story that sounds impossible or is clearly a lie, you might say, "That’s a load of old codswallop!" It’s a very expressive, slightly old-fashioned, but still widely used word that adds a lot of character to your vocabulary.

Used to dismiss something someone said as untrue, ridiculous, or completely fabricated.
