Giving YOU the chance to SPEAK!!

How do your online English lessons work?

Zoom English lessons with a native speaker using lesson slides

My online lessons are different from your traditional Zoom, Teams or Google Meet lesson. There is no webcam* required, so you don't need to feel awkward or "on the spot." I use professional presentation slides to help the lesson flow naturally.

With a combination of engaging slides, real-world topics, and patient guidance, you can expect a very productive session focused entirely on your speaking skills.

*I will briefly introduce myself on camera in our first lesson so you know who you're talking to!

English lessons that make you speak!

All lessons have been planned with the same objective: to maximise your opportunity to speak and build on your vocabulary and expressions while correcting any mistakes you might make during a lesson. You can also get ready for the first lesson by reading this.

1

Let's get ready

Day and time

The first thing to do is get in contact or book a lesson letting me know you're ready for your first online English lesson with a native speaker and the day(s) and time(s) you're available.

2

All the information

My reply

I'll reply to your booking by email or message and confirm all the details about how lessons work, how I teach, prices, and confirm your day and time.

3

We're all set

Click the Zoom link...

In my confirmation email, I'll provide the Zoom link which we are going to use. This link never changes. Just click it, and you're ready to enter the lesson. You can use a tablet, phone, or laptop for your lesson.

4

The lesson begins

NO CAMERA PRESSURE

Hello, how's it going?

You will be greeted with a welcome slide and a "hello" from me. You will see me on camera briefly to say hello, but you do NOT need to be on camera. I turn my camera off after the introduction so we can both focus 100% on the slides and the language.

5

Let's SPEAK English!

The topic and conversation...

Each lesson has a different topic. We use visual slides to generate conversation naturally. We'll look at new vocabulary and idioms in context and immediately start using them in conversation so they "stick" in your memory.

6

Rounding up

The Feedback

Throughout the lesson, I make notes on your mistakes, pronunciation, and any great new phrases you used. We'll review these at the end so you know exactly what to work on.

7

What we talked about

Post lesson revision

After class, you'll receive an email with all the words, expressions, and corrections we discussed. This is your personal revision guide to help you keep progressing between lessons.
